Design Features

The main working element of the shredder is a configuration with 6 thermally treated knives equipped with safety features. Principle of operation

All PALCHE wood chippers in the T series are powered by the PTO (Power Take-Off) of a tractor. The branch shredder is attached to a standard 3-point hitch. To connect the branch shredder to the tractor, a drive shaft with a friction clutch is used, which protects both the unit and the tractor from overloads. This setup provides convenience and safety during operation.

In this model, the power from the tractor is transmitted through the drive shaft to the wood chipper, providing high productivity—up to 4 m³ of finished product per hour. The wood chipper mechanism automatically takes in the material that needs to be cut. The minimum tractor power required for operation with the wood chipper is 11 kW.

It is important to note that the productivity of the unit depends on the diameter, type, moisture, and quality of the wood, as well as the number of personnel working with the wood chipper.
