The PG-160T-KR branch shredder with a reinforced frame performs the function of processing and shredding branches, rails, and other wood residues. It effectively shreds materials into pieces ranging from 14 to 24 centimeters, and these pieces are excellent as fuel for boilers, stoves, fireplaces, as well as for making wood charcoal.
This specific variant of the PG-160T-KR model is capable of cutting soft tree branches with a diameter of up to 16 centimeters and hard branches with a diameter of up to 14 centimeters. The use of this shredding device is particularly beneficial for local services, wood processing enterprises, forestry, woodworking plants, farms, and individuals involved in fuel collection.
Design features
The branch shredder of the T-KR series is activated using the tractor's PTO (Power Take-Off) and is attached to the standard three-point hitch. The tractor requires a minimum of 60 kW of power for effective operation with the shredding device. To connect the tractor to the device, it is recommended to use a universal joint shaft with a friction clutch, which protects both devices from overloads.
The productivity of the PG-160T-KR device can reach up to 12 cubic meters of finished product per hour of operation. The machines are equipped with a cylindrical cutting system and three types of drives. The configuration with six blades is designed with special attention, as these blades are the main working element and withstand significant loads.
Principle of operation
At all stages of production, a high standard of quality control is maintained. All fitting surfaces undergo mandatory grinding, and the quality of welded joints is constantly monitored. The bodies of the mechanisms are made from certified sheet metal with a thickness of 20 mm. Before painting, all structures undergo a cleaning procedure. The powder coating of the device delays wear and tear of the structures and contributes to a long service life. The reliable casing ensures stability and durability of the device.
