The Lemken roller is designed to crush crop residues.
This unit performs a number of important functions:
- processing plant residues after harvesting sunflower, corn, and grains;
- partial mulching and leveling the soil;
- prevents moisture evaporation and weathering;
- helps fight weeds;
- promotes the processing of plant residues by microorganisms, and, therefore, enriches the soil with organic matter;
- its use reduces the reproduction of insect pests, the larvae of which overwinter in plant residues, which reduces the need for pesticides.
