The branch shredder model PG-160BD-K chops branches of soft wood with a diameter of up to 16 cm and branches of hard wood with a diameter of up to 14 cm.
The design features
The branch shredder model PG-160BD-K operates on a 21 kW gasoline engine, providing a production capacity of 14 m³ per hour. The fuel consumption (A-92) is up to 800g/hour. The K-series shredders are equipped with a conveyor belt, allowing shredded material to be transported to a height of up to 3 meters directly onto a trailer, truck bed, tractor, or a special container. This significantly reduces loading time and the required workforce. It's important to note that the productivity depends on the diameter, wood type, moisture, raw material quality, and the number of personnel involved in the process.
Branch shredders can be utilized by forestry enterprises, municipal services, farms, rural and urban councils, etc.
Units of the PG series are equipped with a cylindrical cutting system and three types of drives. Special attention is given to the configuration with six blades in the development of shredder designs, as they are the main working element of the shredders and bear the brunt of the impact load.
Principle of operation
At every stage of production, quality control is conducted. All mating surfaces undergo thorough grinding, and the quality of welded seams is continuously monitored. Mechanism housings are made from certified 20 mm thick sheet metal.
